We talked to Fanfarlo’s Cathy Lucas this week for ‘New Noise.’ They get a lot of comparisons to Beirut and Arcade Fire, probably because their music includes multi-instruments (violin, trumpet, xylophones, etc).
They currently have an Advent Calendar they’re doing on their website, where they post something for their fans every day during the month of December. The above video was Day #7. It’s a performance they did for KCRW’s ‘Morning Becomes Eclectic’ (one of the BEST radio shows around).
